The French State has selected ChapsVision’s sovereign Argonos platform to support large-scale heterogeneous data processing, reinforcing French and European technological sovereignty.
ChapsVision has had its Argonos platform selected as part of France’s OTDH project.
This decision marks a major milestone for French and European technological sovereignty by prioritising a trusted technology solution designed and operated in Europe.
OTDH is an innovation partnership initiated by the French Directorate General for Internal Security, intended to equip France with a sovereign platform for the large-scale processing of heterogeneous data. This competitive dialogue, comprising two lots, involved several competitors and took place in several phases. Following the call for tenders launched in 2021, ChapsVision won Lot 1 at the end of 2024, dedicated to data preparation, then Lot 2 in June 2026, focused on making knowledge usable through modelling, securing and visualisation.
With capabilities spanning both lots, the Argonos platform is now set to become the technological foundation supporting not only the Ministry of the Interior but also a broader range of public administrations in addressing their critical data processing needs.
By choosing Argonos, the French State is opting for a sovereign solution that guarantees control over the entire lifecycle of the most sensitive data. This decision demonstrates the ability of a European player, whose capital is exclusively held by European shareholders, to meet the highest standards of security, performance and trust in a market that has until now been largely dominated by non-European providers.
“The trust the State is placing in us today is recognition of nearly six years of commitment to sovereignty and performance. Beyond our status as a trusted partner of the State, it is a strong marker of our technological credibility in the market. For the most sensitive missions within administrations and companies, Argonos demonstrates that a reliable and high-performing European response exists. At a time when technological sovereignty is returning to the forefront in Europe, France’s choice sets an example for other European States. This is a tremendous source of pride for ChapsVision and for all our teams,” said Olivier Dellenbach, Founder and Chairman of ChapsVision.
All organisations manage considerable volumes of heterogeneous data (photos, videos, documents of all kinds, audio recordings etc.) and, while their challenges vary, they all share the same need: to centralise, analyse and make this data intelligible in order to inform operational and strategic decisions.
This is precisely the challenge Argonos addresses today. Fully configurable and modular, the platform collects, prepares, processes and analyses massive quantities of data, regardless of format or source. It establishes links between the information analysed and can also feed AI agents capable of supporting employees in their day-to-day work, solving complex problems and automating certain processes.
The solution can be deployed on any type of infrastructure, including a customer’s local servers, with full architectural transparency and complete customer autonomy in managing the platform.
This versatility has already been proven with numerous private organisations in Europe and the United States, covering a broad range of sectors, from pharmaceutical laboratories and financial institutions to major industrial players.
Thie selection reinforces ChapsVision’s trajectory. Founded in 2019, the company now generates nearly €200 million in revenue. It intends to continue its growth momentum and is relying on the performance of its solution and the autonomy guarantees it provides to establish itself as a leading data-processing player in Europe and worldwide. The company also aims to continue making targeted acquisitions in Europe, either to strengthen the technological capabilities of the Argonos platform or to develop its industry expertise and international footprint.
“This announcement is part of a clear ambition: to consolidate our position as a champion of data intelligence and agentic AI. The trust placed in us by the French State paves the way for broader deployment, for the benefit of public organisations and private companies around the world, particularly in Europe, where demand for technological autonomy has never been stronger. This is a structuring milestone in our growth trajectory,” said Silvano Sansoni, CEO, ChapsVision.
