TIKOS, a provider of AI Assurance software and services, has been appointed to two key UK government procurement frameworks, positioning the company to support the safe and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the public sector.
The company has been named as an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Artificial Intelligence Dynamic Purchasing System (AI DPS) – the primary procurement vehicle for public sector bodies to source AI services from fewer than 500 pre-qualified providers. Tikos’s inclusion followed an in-depth application and review process, validating its capability to help government agencies adhere to the principles of Trustworthy AI.
This approval aligns with the UK Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan, which targets £20 billion in public sector savings over the next decade through AI adoption, guided by the government’s AI Regulatory Principles.
In parallel, TIKOS has also been approved to provide solutions directly to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) through the Neutral Vendor Framework for Innovation (NVFi). The framework provides a faster, compliant route for bringing critical AI innovation into the defence and security sector, ensuring adherence to Public Procurement Regulations and stringent Defence Security Standards.
Mike Oaten, CEO of TIKOS, said: “Being appointed to both the CCS AI Dynamic Purchasing System and the MoD’s Neutral Vendor Framework for Innovation is a significant milestone for TIKOS. It validates our expertise in testing and evaluating AI models and systems and our commitment to the UK government’s principles of safe, ethical and trustworthy AI.”
TIKOS’s software and services provide the governance layer for AI systems, ensuring applications are explainable, robust and auditable – critical for accelerating safe deployment and achieving strategic benefits across government functions.
